City of Desires
Installation , Ephemeral wall drawings and paintings, 427x1830 cm, 1992

This ephemeral work was made as an indictment against the rise of Hindu fundamentalism which was allowing the destruction of the most beautiful aspects of its culture from the past. For example the murals on the facade and in the interiors of an old gymnasium in Nathdwara which is part of the temple complex.
